The Pre-licensing Course can be completed in the classroom or through online learning or virtual classroom. If you choose to enroll in the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever version you decide to study, all courses use the same curriculum. When you have successfully completed your course, the provider will notify the DMV immediately and you will not have to present the certificate at the time of taking your driver's test.
